Sr Damage Resource Manager

A Day in Life:

The Sr. Damage Resource Manager leads multiple Damage Managers and partners with the Director of Damage Field Operations to oversee damage management activities across Airport and Off-Airport Operations within their assigned division. This role ensures timely, accurate, and efficient damage identification, tracking, recovery, and collection processes.

The Sr. Damage Resource Manager provides leadership and support to rental operations teams in the identification, attribution, and recovery of vehicle damage. The position oversees damage performance metrics, vehicle repair processes, safety initiatives, service standards, and vendor relationships while serving as the division's primary resource for damage administration and analytics.

The starting salary range for this role is $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

What You’ll Do:

- Lead and support the damage recovery and collection process with a focus on achieving financial objectives.
- Ensure field operations teams are aligned with established damage management processes and procedures.
- Implement process improvements and system enhancements to support the effective identification, management, and recovery of vehicle damage.
- Proactively drive damage recovery initiatives and key performance metrics.
- Support the development of a high-performing organization focused on the accurate identification, attribution, repair, and recovery of vehicle damage.
- Serve as the division's primary point of contact for all damage-related claims and inquiries.
- Champion productivity improvements through employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and execute communication strategies that promote employee engagement and drive business results.
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with damage processes and maximize recoverability.
- Develop and deliver in-person and virtual training programs on all aspects of damage recovery and collection within the assigned division.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

What We’re Looking For:

- 6+ years of experience in rental car, fleet, collision, or automotive operations.
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with CCC software is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.
- Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to perform effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
