MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Activity Security Representative - II to join our team in El Segundo, CA .
The Activity Security Representative – II’s primary function to provide multi-disciplined security support to a customer’s facility and organization. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities. This is a five-day a week in the office at El Segundo, CA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
- Assist in the maintenance of a document accountability database and associated correspondence.
- Processing inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records.
- Perform destruction of classified materials.
- Process magnetic media for accountability.
- Reproduction support for classified materials.
- Maintain various daily logs for a variety of administrative functions associated with document control.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional experience (4 years).
- 6+ years total experience, including minimum
- 3+ years’ experience with SCI or SAR programs.
- Minimum of 1-year relevant experience with SAR programs desired.
- Ability to complete the following training with six months of hire: DoD SAPCO approved SAPNP training, Joint Access Database Environment (JADE), SIMS database and JPAS/DISS (if performing SAP personnel security functions).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be familiar with security policy/manuals and the appropriate ICDs/JAFANs/DOD Manuals and other guiding policy documents.
- Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners.
Clearance Requirements:
- Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Willingness to travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note - could be extensive and will include both air and ground transportation).
- Person in this position may remain in a stationary position a percentage of the time (i.e., adjustable chairs and desks) in closed-area offices.
- Occasionally move about inside and out of office to access files, cabinets, safes.
The projected compensation range for this position is $91,600.00-$153,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
