The Work:

ICF seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to support the phased implementation of an enterprise grants management platform built on Salesforce Agentforce Public Sector. The Quality Assurance Analyst will develop test plans, test cases, scripts, and traceability artifacts to validate grants lifecycle workflows, integrations, data migrations, security controls, and accessibility requirements. This role will perform functional, regression, integration, and release testing; document and manage defects through resolution; support automated testing; and coordinate user acceptance testing with business analysts, developers, product owners, and government stakeholders. The Quality Assurance Analyst will help confirm that each release meets acceptance criteria and is ready for secure, reliable production deployment.

Job Locatio n: Remote work is authorized. Must support US Eastern time zone working hours.

What You Will Do:

- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate Salesforce application functionality, workflows, configuration changes, integrations, reports, dashboards, and user experience.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, accessibility, and release validation testing across Salesforce environments, including Integration, Stage, and Production readiness activities.
- Support testing for major releases, minor releases, hotfixes, modernization activities, and platform-wide Salesforce changes.
- Validate Salesforce enterprise tools and operational capabilities such as release management portals, ticketing workflows, license tracking, user separation, helpdesk reporting, and other internal platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with developers, administrators, business analysts, release engineers, technical architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, technical design documents, and system workflows.
- Participate in Technical Design Document reviews and provide QA input on testability, regression impact, acceptance criteria, data needs, integration dependencies, and release risks.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or similar platforms, ensuring timely resolution, retesting, and closure.
- Support incident response and production issue validation by reproducing defects, validating fixes, supporting root cause analysis, and confirming that hotfixes resolve reported issues without introducing regression risk.
- Perform integration testing involving APIs, service accounts, connected applications, Salesforce org-to-org, app-to-app, and third-party integrations.
- Support user acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios, coordinating with business users, documenting outcomes, and validating that delivered functionality meets stakeholder needs.
- Validate data quality, data integrity, field mappings, reporting outputs, and migration or synchronization results when data changes are introduced.
- Create and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, test scripts, test evidence, defect reports, traceability matrices, release validation summaries, and quality metrics.
- Support Quality Control Metrics reporting by tracking testing progress, defect trends, release readiness, escaped defects, retest results, and other quality indicators.
- Validate compliance with Section 508 requirements for user-facing functionality, reports, portals, dashboards, and documentation where applicable.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test automation opportunities, regression test libraries, release checklists, and defect management workflows.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning sessions.
- Support occasional off-hours release validation, hotfix testing, or urgent production issue support as needed.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst developing, documenting, and executing test plans, test cases, scripts, and requirements traceability for software implementations.
- 3+ years of experience performing functional, regression, integration, and release testing and supporting user acceptance testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, or a related field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States. All work must be performed within the United States.

What We Would Like You to Bring With You:

- 1+ years of experience testing a large Salesforce implementation, preferably Salesforce Agentforce Public Sector or Experience Cloud.
- Experience reviewing requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for completeness and testability.
- Experience documenting, prioritizing, tracking, retesting, and closing defects.
- Proficiency working in Agile delivery environments using Jira or comparable requirements and defect-management tools.
- Experience supporting a federal grants management, case management, or comparable enterprise platform implementation.
- Experience with automated testing tools and incorporating regression testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience validating Section 508 accessibility compliance.
- Familiarity with federal cybersecurity testing, security controls, and ATO processes.
- Experience testing system integrations, APIs, data migrations, reconciliation results, and role-based access controls.
- Salesforce, software testing, Agile, or accessibility-related certification.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is :
$67,355.00 - $138,549.00
