As a Guidewire Cloud Developer, you will play a key role in BCAA's Guidewire Cloud transformation, helping to deliver and support scalable, secure, and high-performing insurance technology solutions. Working closely with business, technology, and vendor partners, you'll provide technical expertise across Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter, support cloud migration activities, and help establish BCAA's long-term internal Guidewire development capability.

What You'll Do

- Act as a key technical contributor supporting Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter on the Guidewire Cloud Platform.
- Review and validate technical designs, configurations, integrations, and cloud solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements and platform standards.
- Configure and enhance Guidewire applications using Guidewire Studio, including PCF configuration, workflows, rules, and data model changes.
- Design and support integrations between Guidewire and internal or external systems using APIs, messaging, and integration frameworks.
- Collaborate with architecture, security, DevOps, QA, and vendor teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
- Support defect triage, root cause analysis, testing activities, and production stabilization efforts.
- Conduct code reviews and promote development standards, quality, performance, and maintainability best practices.
- Contribute to Guidewire development standards, integration patterns, and cloud best practices.
- Support knowledge transfer activities to help build and mature BCAA's internal Guidewire capability.
- Apply secure engineering practices across integrations and application development activities.
- Champion platform stability, observability, scalability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with Guidewire Cloud capabilities and industry best practices to support ongoing platform evolution.

What You'll Bring

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Guidewire development, cloud implementation, integrations, or Guidewire platform support.
- Active Guidewire ACE Certification.
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter.
- Proven experience configuring and extending Guidewire applications using Guidewire Studio.
- Strong proficiency in Gosu and Java with a solid foundation in object-oriented programming.
- Experience developing integrations using REST and/or SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of event-driven, messaging, and batch integration approaches.
- Experience designing and documenting end-to-end technical solutions.
- Strong code review, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience applying secure development practices and API security standards.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery practices, sprint planning, estimation, and dependency management.
- Ability to partner effectively with QA teams to support functional, regression, integration, and performance testing activities.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with APD.
- Experience working with Guidewire Cloud Platform implementations or migrations.
- Experience with containerized deployment and runtime technologies.
- Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance processes and systems.
- Experience supporting enterprise cloud-based insurance platforms.

The salary range for this position is $94,377.36 to $117,971.76and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.
