Supply Chain Manager II, RDPI IT-SC Supplier Performance & Compliance

Description

We are looking for an analytically driven Supply Chain Manager to own and advance supplier performance programs within the SPIRE team. You will be the single-threaded owner of one or more performance workstreams — such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery measurement, supplier reporting compliance, or lead time accuracy — and will be responsible for defining program standards, building measurement frameworks, and driving adoption across our global supplier network.

In this role you will operate with significant ambiguity: scoping problems that don't yet have established processes, designing scalable solutions, and earning trust with cross-functional partners (Global Materials Management, Planning, Procurement, and suppliers) to implement them. You will independently manage supplier-facing communications, translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership, and continuously raise the bar on how we measure and improve supplier performance.

Key job responsibilities
- Own end-to-end execution of assigned SPIRE performance programs (e.g., OTIF measurement, ASN/EDI compliance, promise date adherence), including goal-setting, stakeholder alignment, and delivery against milestones
- Design and implement supplier performance metrics frameworks, scorecards, and reporting mechanisms that enable data-driven decision-making at scale
- Analyze complex supply chain datasets to identify systemic root causes of delivery failures, lead time variability, and compliance gaps; translate findings into prioritized action plans
- Drive cross-functional alignment with GMM, Planning, Procurement, and technology teams to standardize processes and close performance gaps
- Manage direct supplier engagement — communicating expectations, reviewing performance data, and facilitating corrective action plans
- Build and automate recurring reports and dashboards (SQL, Excel, BI tools) that reduce manual effort and improve visibility for stakeholders
- Document scalable processes, SOPs, and runbooks that enable the team to maintain programs as they grow
- Identify and escalate emerging risks in the supplier base, proposing mitigation strategies with supporting data

Robotics Deployment & Packaging Innovation (RDPI) Tech-IT Supply Chain is a global organization within Amazon that designs, builds, deploys, and maintains mission-critical infrastructure supporting Amazon's operations network. Within RDPI Tech-IT Supply Chain, the Supplier Performance, Intelligence, Risk & Excellence (SPIRE) team transforms how we manage supplier performance and compliance — turning fragmented processes into scalable, data-driven systems that improve quality, reduce delays, and drive measurable cost avoidance.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
