General Summary:

Join the Modem SW Integration & Test Automation team to support large-scale 4G LTE and 5G NR modem validation and software integration activities. This role combines wireless system knowledge, test operations, technical triage, automation development, and AI-driven workflow optimization to ensure platform stability, validation quality, and on-time delivery of modem release milestones.

This role provides broad exposure to modem software integration, wireless validation, test operations, automation, AI-driven engineering solutions, and next-generation 5G/6G platform development while working with cross-functional teams across the modem ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and maintain the health of wireless validation infrastructure, test pools, base stations, and automation platforms.
- Perform technical triage, failure analysis, and root-cause investigations across modem software, infrastructure, and automation systems.
- Develop automation tools, dashboards, and AI-enabled workflows using Python to improve efficiency and operational visibility.
- Analyze logs, crash dumps, and test results to identify issues and drive resolution with cross-functional teams.
- Generate operational reports, execution metrics, and validation status updates.
- Collaborate with software, systems, hardware, and validation teams to improve platform reliability and execution quality.
- Support execution of modem validation workloads and track readiness for release milestones.
- Contribute to MPSS image-level integration by validating the interaction and correctness of all integrated subsystems (RF SW, NR5G, Data, MMCP, IMS, etc.) across new platform bring-ups and feature releases
- Develop and execute integration test strategies, test plans, and test cases for functional, regression, and system-level validation of the MPSS image

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s in Electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Understanding of Wireless Communications and Digital Communication fundamentals.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with modem validation, wireless testing, or protocol troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with 4G LTE/5G NR protocol layers and modem call flows.
- Exposure to wireless test equipment such as Keysight, Anritsu, R&S, or Spirent.
- Experience with automation frameworks or large-scale test environments.
- Exposure to AI/ML-based analytics, automated failure triage, or engineering productivity tools.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits :
$93,400.00 - $140,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
