At CountryHouse Council Bluffs , an Agemark Senior Living community, were looking for a dependable Cook who enjoys preparing great food and creating positive dining experiences. This on-call role offers the flexibility to pick up shifts that work with your schedule , with a minimum commitment of just two shifts per month. What Youll Do
- Prepare Great Meals: Cook fresh, flavorful meals according to menus, recipes, and residents dietary needs.
- Create Positive Experiences: Help make mealtime something residents look forward to each day.
- Support Special Events: Assist with meals for celebrations, community events, and special gatherings.
- Keep It Safe & Clean: Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Work as a Team: Partner with dining team members and other departments to keep meal service running smoothly.
What Youll Bring
- Cooking Experience: At least one year of hands-on cooking or culinary experience.
- Positive Attitude: A dependable, team-oriented approach and a passion for serving others.
- Strong Communication: Ability to communicate and work well with residents and team members.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility: Availability to work at least two shifts per month and help with additional shifts as your schedule allows.
