## Responsibilities
The Account Management Coordinator supports the daily operations and account management functions for employer-sponsored health plans and related insurance products. This role is responsible for assisting with client account maintenance, coordinating communications between internal departments and external vendors, supporting implementation and renewal activities, and helping ensure a high level of service for employer groups and members.This role requires highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused skills and the ability to comfortable work in a fast-paced healthcare and insurance environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Answering emails from brokers and members.
- Assisting in account management with customer service inquiries (including high-level/VIP member support, such as ID card requests).
- Researching claims and helping recommend healthcare providers.
- Updating, creating, and manipulating data spreadsheets.
Work Schedule: Full-time, onsite at our Fresno location, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience
- Employee benefits, health insurance, or healthcare customer service experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint required
- Experience with health plans or broker account management preferred
- Previous healthcare customer service or administrative experience is preferred
- Experience with the QNext preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
- CALIFEA - Valid California Department of Insurance Life-Only Agent License required within nine (9) months of hire or transfer into position
- CAAHBA - Valid California Department of Insurance Accident and Health Brokers/Agent License required within six (6) months of hire or transfer into position
