About this role
Hub — Executive Assistant
Hub is one of the fastest-growing data companies, providing real-world training data to the largest AI and robotics companies. Based in San Francisco and backed by Y Combinator and top VCs, its mission is to advance embodied AGI through real-world data and research.
Responsibilities
As Executive Assistant you're the founders' right hand, a multitasker across research, operations and communication.
- Market research on competitors, partners and new markets.
- Drafting contracts.
- Answering emails and group chats, and taking calls.
- Managing small projects, to learn to manage big ones.
Candidate profile
2 to 5 years of experience. More experience is welcome when the track record justifies it. Smart and creative, good at management and operations, with a strong background, ideally from a French business school. We look for outliers with outstanding achievements and grit.
- Fluent in both French and English, spoken and written.
- A true multitasker: research in the morning, a contract by lunch, a partner call in the afternoon.
- Dedicated and service-minded. You make the people around you faster.
- Comfortable taking calls and representing Hub with partners.
- AI native. Proficient with AI and agentic workflows: they're how you research, draft and operate. You research the field daily.
- Big sense of ownership. Every project you touch, small or big, is yours until it's done.
- Passionate about technology. You follow AI and robotics because you love it, not because the job asks.
- Bonus: you're a Hermes Agent user, or run a similar always-on personal agent.
Tools and working stack
Frontier models and deep research agents for market and company research.
- Agents that triage inboxes and group chats and draft the first reply.
- Agentic workflows that automate the operations you optimize.
- Your own agent setup, so the founders' right hand has a right hand too.
Example missions (illustrative, not agreed targets or budgets)
We need a full research of all the egocentric data collection apps on the market right now.
- We have a meeting with a major services marketplace. Do a full research on the company (services, finance, structure, history, decision makers) and prepare a 5-minute brief.
- We need to sign a huge affiliate partner that owns 60 mechanic stores. Think of the terms, draft the contract and get it signed.
Compensation and work authorization
Employer clarification relayed by Victor on 2026-09-25; the original JD remains the source for role responsibilities and work location.
- Around USD 3,000 per month (approximately USD 36,000 annualized), with a somewhat higher or lower base possible depending on the profile; this is a reference budget, not a rigid minimum or maximum.
- Hub says no existing work authorization is required for Account Manager, Executive Assistant, HR Admin & Accountant or Marketing Manager. This is the employer's stated recruiting policy, not a legal conclusion or a promise of visa sponsorship; it does not change the roles' stated locations or work modes.
- Remote.
- Direct work with the founders. Direct work with top AI labs.
Recruitment process stated in the JD
A short application read by the founders. We open your handles first: your LinkedIn, projects you've led, things you've built.
- One conversation, then a task from the real work, like the missions above.
- We watch how you approach the problem, how you break it down, what you measure, and how you verify your own work.
- Final conversation, then answer within 48 hours. The 48-hour answer is a stated process target, not a separately verified service commitment.
Application evidence requested
Send us a short application, in your own words. We want to hear the thing you've done that you're the most proud of, your professional handles (LinkedIn, links, etc) , and the story behind your achievements.
