Description
Review and validate technical drawings, BOM, and assembly instructions during NPI to ensure product quality and design standards.
Monitor production runs, generate DFM reports, and support the Quality Manager in implementing line monitoring and lessons learned.
Inspect incoming materials based on BOM/drawings and partner with suppliers to drive and control CAPA implementation.
Investigate root causes for workmanship-related failures and lead EMS teams (Jabil Vietnam) in CAPA execution.
Drive continuous improvement plans with CM to boost production First Pass Yield (FPY) and field reliability.
Establish quality inspection standards and control points for Batch 0 runs, while training and supervising QC staff.
Cooperate closely with SolarEdge HQ Quality & Reliability teams to achieve global quality benchmarks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
3–5 years of professional experience in Quality Engineering or NPI within high-volume electronics manufacturing (EMS/PCBA environment).
Strong expertise in root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys), CAPA, DFM, and quality control systems.
Good command of English to collaborate directly with SolarEdge HQ and multinational teams.
