Job Title: Test Bench Design Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Test Bench design Engineer with expertise in understanding project requirements, cost estimation, CAD proficiency, and Electrical domain knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of products and a track record of innovative test solutions development and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand project requirements from customers and provide accurate cost estimations.
- Initiate and manage the PR (Purchase Requisition) and PO (Purchase Order) process for IG, OG devices, and consumable items.
- Proficiency in CAD (both mechanical and electrical) to create General Arrangement (GA) drawings and complete electrical diagrams.
- Experience in PLC and NI-based industrial automation wirings and controls.
- Proficient in NI hardware and PLC hardware configuration as per project requirements.
- Clear understanding of sensors and relay logic.
- Good to have knowledge , particularly Breakers, Meters, Gateways, and Power Tags.
- Design and develop Test Panels, Test Grids, and Test Jigs using CAD, PLC, and NI.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material procurement and test bench preparation.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement to develop advanced hardware solutions for projects, emphasizing efficiency, sustainability, and impact.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design
- Proven experience in electrical project engineering.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software and electrical design.
- Hands-on experience with PLC and NI hardware configuration.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
