Position Overview
We are looking for a professional to support Group ICT planning, reporting and portfolio management activities. The role focuses on ICT portfolio governance, financial planning and control, executive reporting, project prioritization, resource capacity monitoring and support to procurement and audit processes. The position acts as a key coordination point between ICT leaders, Controlling, Procurement and other corporate stakeholders to ensure visibility, alignment and effective management of ICT investments, projects and operational spending.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ICT Portfolio Management and PMO governance activities, providing visibility on programs, projects, roadmaps, risks, dependencies and resource capacity.
- Coordinate portfolio prioritization, KPI/OKR monitoring and executive reporting, ensuring alignment with ICT strategic objectives.
- Manage and continuously improve ICT planning and reporting processes, tools and dashboards, ensuring data quality, consistency and reliable management insights.
- Support ICT financial planning and control activities, including Budget, Forecast, Actual expenditure monitoring, variance analysis and monthly closing cycles.
- Coordinate Procurement-to-Pay processes, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and ICT expenditure management, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
- Support project governance, Investment Requests, approval workflows, capitalization processes and audit activities, ensuring the availability of required documentation and evidence.
- Prepare and present periodic portfolio, financial and performance updates to ICT leadership, Controlling, Finance and other key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5 years of experience in ICT financial planning and control, ICT portfolio management, PMO, project controlling or similar roles.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Management Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial closing, cost control and investment management processes.
- Experience with project portfolio governance, prioritization, progress monitoring and executive reporting.
- Experience with Procurement-to-Pay processes, purchase orders, invoice management and investment approval workflows.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP, portfolio management or business intelligence platforms is considered an advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder management, organizational and communication skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
The compensation package will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills and the scope of the role, applying objective and gender-neutral criteria. As a reference, for this position we offer a salary starting from €40,000 gross per year, depending on the candidate’s experience, skills and the scope of the role. This position is covered by the CCNL Metalmeccanici Industria.
