About the Team

We are looking for an Antitrust Compliance Counsel to join the Corporate Compliance Prevention Management team with expertise in antitrust law.

This role is responsible for protecting the company's reputation for integrity, risk mitigation, advising the business on legal and compliance matters and capturing opportunities utilizing the potential of the law.

What you can look forward to as Antitrust Compliance Counsel (m/f/d):

- Advise the entire organization regarding compliance topics, especially in the area of antitrust law (anti-money laundering (AML) law expertise is also valued);

- Analyze whether diverse business practices across the company comply with national and international legal standards and requirements, including the European antitrust / AML regulations;

- Present, explain and defend compliance obligations and processes to internal stakeholders and third parties, including customer and supplier representatives;

- Provide legal guidance and support to compliance processes including third party compliance screenings, trade association compliance monitoring, antitrust onboarding processes for employees, and compliance risk assessments;

- Integrate global compliance standards into internal policies and process descriptions;

- Continuously monitor compliance standards and legal developments;

- Direct and oversee outside counsel, including in relation to antitrust and AML matters;

- Support other compliance functions and initiatives, including trainings, with the general objective to meet legal compliance standards and mitigate liability to the ZF Group, its entities and staff, including Executive Management.

Your profile as Antitrust Compliance Counsel (m/f/d):

- Completed law studies;

- Min. 5 years of experience in legal and/or compliance practice either in a global industrial company or a major accounting or law firm; with a focus on antitrust law preferred;

- Strong methodical approach, analytical and process-oriented thinking, critical judgment and an entrepreneurial mindset;

- Fluent in English;

- Fluent in German is considered an asset;

- Ability to travel up to 20%.
