(Senior) Analyst for Analytics Enablement

We are looking for a business-minded, curious and collaborative (Senior) Analyst who enjoys connecting business needs with data and analytics solutions. You will work closely with business, analytics and technology stakeholders to turn diverse needs into clear requirements and support the development and adoption of common processes, tools and platforms across Nordea. This is a permanent position.

About our team

Meet the Analytics Enablement team. Our role is to help Nordea turn data and analytics into real business and customer value in a safe, simple and scalable way.

Our team is part of the Data & Analytics Hub in Group Digital. We support business areas across Nordea by making data and analytics easier to adopt, operate and scale. In practice, this means providing Business Areas with common technical platforms and tools, shared ways of working, practical guidance, training and production capabilities that help teams move from ambition to reliable solutions. We work closely with business, analytics and technology colleagues across the Nordics to support Nordea’s 2030 Strategy and next generation relationship banking.

Main responsibilities in this role:

- Play a key role in developing and implementing common data and analytics processes, tools and platforms that help Nordea scale analytics safely and efficiently

- Engage with business areas, analytics teams and technology stakeholders to understand their needs, identify common requirements and guide them towards shared, scalable solutions

- Analyse and translate business and analytical needs into clear requirements and actionable work for our technical teams

- Facilitate collaboration between business and technical stakeholders, helping clarify expectations, options, dependencies and decisions

- Provide practical guidance, training and hands-on support to help teams adopt common technologies and ways of working

Who you are

This is the right role for you if you are:

- A business-minded data and analytics professional who enjoys working at the intersection of business, analytics and technology

- Curious and skilled at understanding stakeholder needs, asking the right questions and bringing structure to complex or initially unclear topics

- Able to translate business and analytical needs into clear requirements and practical solutions for technical teams

- An excellent communicator who can explain complex topics clearly to both business and technical audiences

- Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to build trust and facilitate cooperation across organizational boundaries

- Motivated by helping teams adopt shared solutions and improve how data and analytics are used across Nordea

Your background and skills include:

- Relevant higher education

- Experience in business intelligence, data analysis, data science or a similar data and analytics role, preferably in a business-facing position

- Strong ability to understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements for data, analytics, tools, platforms or process development

- Good understanding of data and analytics practices, including GDPR, data governance, data privacy and responsible data use

- Experience working with cross-functional teams and contributing to structured delivery in an agile or project-based environment

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills in English, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology

- Experience working with cloud or hybrid environments is considered an advantage
