Your Team, Your Impact
Join our Analog Mixed Signal Layout team in Singapore and gain hands-on experience in developing integrated circuits layout for high-speed connectivity and broadband analog applications.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you will learn how circuit designs are translated into physical layouts that meet performance, area, and reliability requirements. You may support building blocks such as high-speed interfaces, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, phase-locked loops, and clock generation and distribution circuits.

This internship offers an opportunity to build practical IC layout skills, contribute to project deliverables, and collaborate with design and layout teams across locations.

What You Can Expect

- Learn and apply analog layout fundamentals, including device matching, symmetry, floor planning, routing, and parasitic awareness.

- Assist with the layout of analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks under the guidance of experienced engineers.

- Gain practical experience with industry-standard layout tools such as Cadence Virtuoso and/or Synopsys Custom Compiler.

- Perform design rule checks (DRC) and layout-versus-schematic (LVS) verification using tools such as Siemens Calibre, and help resolve issues with mentor support.

- Participate in layout reviews and learn how layout decisions affect circuit performance and reliability.

- Document your work, share progress, and collaborate with local and overseas team members.

- Where applicable, contribute to scripting or automation tasks that improve layout efficiency and quality.

What We're Looking For

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related discipline.

- Basic understanding of semiconductor devices, CMOS technology, and electronic circuits.

- A strong interest in analog and mixed-signal IC design and physical layout.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

- A willingness to learn, seek feedback, and take ownership of assigned tasks.

- Good communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Helpful, but Not Required

- Relevant coursework or academic projects in analog circuits, VLSI, or IC design.

- Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Custom Compiler, or physical verification tools.

- Basic knowledge of Linux and scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or SKILL.
