As a Senior Resource Planning Specialist at ICON, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing resource allocation across clinical trials and research projects.

What You Will Do:

Your experience in site resourcing and workforce planning will be key in delivering high-quality outcomes and mentoring colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing resource planning activities, including the allocation of personnel, equipment, and other resources across multiple clinical projects.
- Collaborating with project managers and department leaders to assess resource needs, forecast demand, and ensure efficient utilization.
- Developing and maintaining resource planning tools and systems to track availability, usage, and future needs.
- Identifying resource bottlenecks, gaps, or inefficiencies and proposing solutions to optimize resource allocation.
- Providing reports and strategic insights to leadership on resource trends, usage, and projections to support informed decision-making.

Your Profile:

You will have a strong foundation in site resourcing and workforce planning, with the experience to work independently and guide others.

Required qualifications and experience:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
- Significant experience in resource planning, project management, or operations, preferably within the clinical research or healthcare sector.
- Flexible to work in shift (8 AM to 5 PM IST) to support communication with counterparts based in far east Asian countries like Japan.
- Proficiency in resource management software and tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing resource needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
