Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the erection, installation, and execution of Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) structures for large-scale industrial projects.
- Review PEB drawings, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, connection details, and technical specifications.
- Monitor structural steel erection activities, including columns, rafters, bracings, purlins, girts, roofing, and cladding works.
- Ensure execution of PEB works in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to achieve project milestones within the scheduled timelines.
- Verify material receipts, erection sequences, alignment, bolt tightening, and structural integrity during installation.
- Ensure compliance with quality control procedures, inspection requirements, and relevant industry standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
- Identify site challenges and implement corrective actions to ensure timely project completion.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies and statutory regulations during construction activities.
Key Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in PEB construction and structural steel erection for industrial projects.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong experience in PEB erection, structural steel fabrication, roofing, cladding, and industrial building construction.
- Experience in manufacturing plants, process industries, warehouses, industrial facilities, refinery, petrochemical, power, or infrastructure projects preferred.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection methodologies.
- Knowledge of structural connections, alignment procedures, quality inspection requirements, and construction standards.
- Familiarity with project planning, execution monitoring, and contractor management.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to work at the project site in Jamnagar.
