We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Lead UX Designer .

Business: CTO Data Technology

Principal responsibilities

User research and discovery

- Understand the needs, goals, pain points and working practices of Dhub portal users.
- Conduct user interviews, workshops, usability testing, surveys and other appropriate research activities.
- Analyse existing workflows, support issues, operational feedback and usage data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop personas, journey maps, service blueprints and other artefacts where they add value.
- Ensure diverse user perspectives are represented throughout the design process.

Experience and interaction design

- Design intuitive end-to-end experiences for:
- Campaign configuration
- Campaign journey creation and management
- Global settings and permissions
- Operational monitoring and administration
- Data entry, validation, approvals and exception handling

- Translate complex business and technical requirements into simple, usable interfaces.
- Create user flows, information architectures, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs.
- Design for usability, efficiency, accessibility, consistency and scalability.
- Anticipate user errors and create effective guidance, validation, confirmation and recovery experiences.
- Establish clear patterns for complex forms, rules, dependencies, status indicators and workflow states.
- Ensure the experience supports operational controls, auditability and appropriate user permissions.

Collaboration and delivery

- Work closely with product managers, engineers, business analysts, operations teams and subject-matter experts.
- Facilitate design workshops and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
- Communicate design decisions clearly, including the rationale, trade-offs and expected user or operational impact.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and remain fit for purpose.
- Support agile delivery through design planning, backlog refinement, reviews and iteration.
- Contribute to design standards, reusable components and a consistent portal experience.
- Help identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort and minimise errors.

Evaluation and continuous improvement

- Validate concepts and prototypes with representative users before development.
- Conduct usability testing and assess designs against agreed success measures.
- Use feedback, analytics and service data to refine the experience after launch.
- Track outcomes such as task completion, time on task, error rates, support demand and user satisfaction.
- Promote continuous improvement based on evidence rather than assumptions

Requirements

- Proven experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer or Interaction Designer, ideally working on internal enterprise platforms, workflow tools or operational systems.
- Strong experience designing complex, data-rich or rules-based applications.
- Demonstrable experience across the full UX lifecycle, from discovery and research through to delivery and continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, prototyping and usability testing.
- Experience simplifying complex processes and designing efficient, low-friction workflows.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience using design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Axure or equivalent.
- Ability to produce clear design specifications and collaborate closely with developers.
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility and inclusive design principles.
- Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
- A portfolio demonstrating relevant enterprise, workflow or platform design work.
- Desirable experience
- Experience designing campaign management, customer engagement, marketing operations or journey orchestration platforms.
- Experience with administration portals, configuration tools, workflow management or content management systems.
- Experience designing role-based access, approvals, audit trails and operational
