About this role
The primary purpose of a site engineer is to ensure that construction projects are completed accurately and safely. They provide technical assurance, manage on-site works, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Site engineers are responsible for overseeing all on-site activities to ensure they align with the project’s design, specifications, and legal requirements.
They also solve daily problems that arise during construction, and help keep the project running smoothly from start to finish. The roads project includes the delivery of both permanent and temporary works in accordance with the certified design. Opportunity to develop engineering delivery experience and grow within role. Packages of work include – Concrete repairs and structural concrete, pavement, drainage, expansion joints, structural waterproofing, parapets and vehicle restraint, highway works, temporary works.
The role will be site-based.
