Multiple opportunities available across Infeed, MFCO, Outfeed and Cross Docking Bay Marshals

Location: Midlands Super Hub, Crick, NN6 7GZ
Hours: 37 hours a week
Contract: Permanent

Shift times:

You will be required to work one of the below shift patterns;

- Early Shift : Tue-Sat 06:00 to 13:24
- Late Shift : Mon-Thu 12:45 to 22:00
- Night Shift : Mon-Thu 20:45 to 06:00
- Weekend Night Shif t: Fri to Sun times TBC  (earliest start 14:00 - latest finish 06:00)

We have multiple opportunities available across a range of operational roles at our Midlands Super Hub, including:

- Infeed Operators
- MFCO Operators
- Outfeed Operators
- Cross Docking Bay Marshals

You’ll play an important part in keeping parcels moving safely and efficiently through one of our major processing operations. Depending on your work area, you could be loading and sorting parcels, supporting the operation of automated machinery, clearing blockages, preparing mail for dispatch or coordinating activity within loading bays.

What you’ll be doing

Your responsibilities will vary depending on the role and work area, but may include:

- Sorting, moving, loading and dispatching parcels
- Operating or supporting automated parcel-processing equipment
- Using manual and automated handling equipment safely
- Identifying and reporting faults or operational issues
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
- Supporting other teams and work areas when operational priorities change
- Working closely with colleagues to meet service and quality standards

We’re looking for people who

- Work well in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Take safety seriously and follow agreed ways of working
- Are reliable, flexible and comfortable working as part of a team
- Can maintain accuracy and attention to detail
- Are prepared to switch tasks or work areas when required
- Are comfortable with a physically active role that may involve prolonged standing, walking, using stairs and lifting parcels weighing up to 30kg

Application Process

Following the closing date, candidates will be invited to complete a desk-based assessment in Midlands Super Hub. Candidates achieving the highest scores will then be invited to attend a face-to-face interview. If you've completed the same desk-based assessment for a Processing role at the Midlands Super Hub within the past 6 months, we'll use your existing assessment score, so you won't need to retake it as part of this application.

You will receive further information and an invitation to an assessment session shortly after the advert closes.
