Program Manager, XR Supply Partner

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

lightweight XR devices like smart glasses and headsets pair with helpful AI to augment human intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and contextually aware experiences.

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain Management, Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- 5 years of experience in semiconductor commodity management, global supply management, or silicon procurement within consumer electronics, mobile, wearable, or semiconductor industries.

- 5 years of experience negotiating commercial agreements, wafer capacity allocations, or packaging and test (OSAT) pricing with semiconductor foundries, fabless chipmakers, or memory manufacturers.

- 5 years of experience managing multi-sourcing programs and qualification workflows for alternate electronic components (e.g., MCUs, PMICs, or sensors) with engineering teams and ODMs.

Preferred qualifications:

- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Physics, Supply Chain Management, or an MBA.

- 5 years of experience with mobile/XR system architectures, power delivery networks, and MEMS sensor physics.

- 5 years of experience establishing quarterly index pricing and supply risk models for DRAM and NAND flash memory.

- Lead commercial governance, wafer pricing, and capacity reservation with silicon foundries, Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Tests (OSAT) vendors, and fabless chipmakers.

- Establish dynamic pricing models and strategic inventory buffers for volatile memory commodities, including LPDDR and UFS storage.

- Drive engineering second-sourcing, pin-compatible component qualification, and schematic review to eliminate single-point supply vulnerabilities.

- Manage perception sensor roadmaps, RFQ evaluations, total cost of ownership negotiations, and quarterly business reviews.

- Coordinate silicon allocations, pricing pass-throughs, and material fulfillment across internal product teams and Asian manufacturing ODMs.
