Program Manager

- ## Position Purpose
As a Program Manager , you will manage a portfolio of infrastructure projects, supporting investments in production capacity, new equipment, and new or existing technologies. You will coordinate projects from planning and business case development through implementation, reporting, and handover, working closely with Production, Quality, Site Services, and other stakeholders.A key part of the role is translating technical investment needs into well-founded business cases, using data and return-on-investment considerations to support effective investment decisions.
## Key Responsibilities and Duties

### Planning
Participate in defining the scope, budget, and objectives of the infrastructure project portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to assess technical feasibility and establish realistic project timelines.
- Develop clear action and implementation plans for assigned projects.

Project Portfolio Management

- Ensure project activities are delivered according to the agreed scope, plan, timeline, and budget.
- Coordinate activities across the project portfolio, working with project managers, specialists, consultants, and other contributors.
- Assess the internal resources required for successful project execution.
- Manage changes to project scope, timelines, and costs using appropriate project management methods.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, including mitigation actions, backup scenarios, risk analysis, and escalation plans.
- Monitor the progress of projects across the assigned portfolio.
- Apply project management best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project implementation.
- Support the implementation of infrastructure and CAPEX investments, including new equipment and new or existing technologies.

Reporting and Performance Monitoring

- Ensure effective information flow within project workstreams and across relevant departments.
- Organise regular project meetings and provide clear updates to stakeholders.
- Monitor progress against agreed objectives and prepare regular project reports.
- Evaluate key performance indicators related to the implementation of the project portfolio.
- Develop and maintain escalation plans.
- Prepare and review project handover documentation.
- Assess the impact of the project portfolio and communicate relevant information to management, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Escalate significant risks or issues that could affect successful project delivery.

Stakeholder & Network Management

- Build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders involved in project delivery.
- Engage relevant stakeholders in decision-making when required.
- Address communication issues promptly to keep projects moving forward.
- Provide accurate and timely information within your area of responsibility.
- Create a collaborative working environment across cross-functional project teams.
- Support and motivate project teams through clear communication and ongoing collaboration.
- Work closely with functions including Production, Quality, and Site Services.

Qualifications & Required Skills

- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience , with solid project management experience and preferably exposure to managing several projects simultaneously.
- Experience in infrastructure, engineering, maintenance, production equipment, CAPEX projects, or a related technical environment.
- Good understanding of project planning, budgeting, risk management.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to balance technical and business considerations.
- Resilience and perseverance when managing complex projects and competing stakeholder expectations.
- Experience with project management tools is an advantage.
- Project Management certification is an advantage.
- Experience in strategy, Lean, or business development is an advantage.
- Advanced English. .
