Job Description
This role is primarily responsible for providing routine transactional support on assigned time and labor processes to ensure the accurate posting of timecard transactions based on standard processes and in compliance with relevant regulations & policies.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Performs simple time and labor processes to support the overall timekeeping services in compliance with methodologies, relevant regulations, and established standards.
- Enters timesheets and verifies attendance or hours worked in line with standard methodologies and processes.
- Provides support on the weekly close process to ensure accurate posting of timecard transactions.
- Runs regular reports for timekeeping transactions.
- Answers simple timekeeping inquiries using company systems based on established guidelines and standard processes.
- Raise issues that are outside SOP/DTP to senior team members and/or Team Lead for timely resolution.
- Raise awareness if something is not clear in SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporates documentation updates as required. Escalate to senior and team lead.
- Performs simple routinary tasks in compliance with service level agreements, process, policies, and procedures.
- Gathers information and documentation to assist in investigating and resolving issues within the assigned process.
- Contributes to generating simple process improvement initiatives to streamline processes.
- Performs ad hoc tasks as requested or assigned by senior team member and/or Team Lead.
- Process simple SNOW requests pertaining to timekeeping, including monitoring and closing of cases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Timekeeping processes and procedures.
- Experience working in an outsourcing, shared services, or similar model with compensation-related roles or other similar functions is preferred.
- Basic knowledge in using Oracle, ADP, ServiceNow, or other similar platforms and tools is preferred.
