About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist who will be part of our team servicing Procurement Cement. You will collaborate closely with various internal and external stakeholders. As a Logistics Specialist you will be an integral part of our Logistics team, who ensures the prompt delivery of equipment to our customers.

About the department

You will be part of Service Procurement - APAC Region Supply Chain, Cement which supports Service procurement. By joining this team, you will have the chance to work in a domestic and international environment involving different cultures and different challenges. This department works closely with both our internal and external customers to ensure Fuller Technologies cement spare parts are on time delivery and help customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities:

- Manages both Freight & Export in a small to oversized project
- Coordinates deliveries with the customer and customs agents
- Should handle domestic and international dispatches as per contract
- Should have strong knowledge in LC and Trade compliance
- Keep contact with internal technical departments and suppliers to ensure delivery of required technical documentation for import and operation of the equipment
- Obtains necessary information on import documentation and arranges the necessary import certificates as and when required according to country legislation.
- Approves shipping costs directly related to the project to follow up on shipping costs.
- Comply with all export documentation necessary to invoice customers for the specific products ordered.
- Handles bank documentation including payment instructions to prepare for future payments.
- Performs various shipping and logistics administrative tasks such as updating lists, schedules, approving invoices and preparing shipping documentation.
- Manages carrier payments and audits carrier invoices.
- Builds up and keeps contact with necessary customs and certification agents.
- Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities

You bring

- Relevant background with domestic and international transport export documentations.
- Extensive knowledge of Letter of Credit/UCP600 documentation and rules is required.
- Min. 5-10 years of experience from working with domestic and international clients.
- You are an excellent team player with strong coordination skills
- Planning and Organizing
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Expert in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Hands-on experience with ERP-systems
