Senior Architect - Design/Technical

Job Description

Coordinates with Consultants on design, technical and code compliance matters.

Works with the Project Team in the co-ordination, organization & preparation of concept, prefinal, final submission up to construction documents & drawings.

Maintain regular interfacing with external and internal members of Project Team

Lead all coordination works, provide leadership and co-ordinate the input/output of all involved parties to meet established objectives.

Maintains regular interfacing with team members.

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback.

Research, benchmarking, and case study creating a solid foundation for Design Proposals.

Elaboration of innovative Design Concepts and story lines for various building typologies.

Production of drawings (Revit) for quick turn-around during Design competitions, Feasibility Studies, and development stages.

Strong understanding of local codes and planning parameters for complex projects.

Coordination with consultants on design and technical matters.

Presentation of Design Proposal during internal design reviews.

Preparation of formal client presentations and Design Competition submissions in PowerPoint and InDesign.

Recording of meeting minutes and tracking of outstanding items.

Ability to assimilate comments and inputs to amend the design proposal within short notice.

Experience in working across design disciplines with architects, engineers, and designers.

Leading architectural design practice, demonstrating design capability across residential and commercial asset types

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.

8-12+ Years of Experience

Proficiency in 3D modelling (Rhino and Revit), Adobe Creative Suite.

Experience in GCC preferred

Demonstrating design capability

Leading architectural design practice

Excellent knowledge of Saudi Building Codes & Standards.

Project management Skills

Leadership skills to set clear goals, motivate teams, and produce superior results under challenging schedules
