Job Description
Under general supervision, perform assigned DEA and security activities within the Corporate DEA & Security Department to provide a safe and secure work environment for the protection of employees, products, controlled substances, and company resources. This position is classified as safety-sensitive.

Position Summary
Under general supervision, perform assigned DEA and security activities within the Corporate DEA & Security Department to provide a safe and secure work environment for the protection of employees, products, controlled substances, and company resources. This position is classified as safety-sensitive.

Schedule Requirements

- 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Must be able to provide coverage as needed.
- Rotating schedule: Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Perform DEA and security responsibilities to ensure accountability of controlled substances and protection of company assets.
- Provide access control, patrol facilities, prevent diversion, and respond to suspicious or emergency situations.
- Monitor alarm, access control, video management, and communication systems.
- Report incidents and emergencies to site or corporate security leadership.
- Comply with DEA, federal, state, local, corporate, and cGMP requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate Piramal Core Values and EHS expectations.

Education Requirements

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Criminal Justice or related college coursework preferred.

Experience and Qualifications

- Six months to one year of security, police, military, or related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
- Ability to administer basic first aid until assistance arrives.
- Ability to become proficient in site procedures and C•CURE 9000 within three months of hire.
- Computer proficiency and report-writing capability required.
- Must successfully pass background screening and drug testing.
- May require working alone for limited periods.

Physical Requirements

- Lift up to 40 pounds.
- Regular standing, sitting, reaching, hearing, and visual observation.
- Requires significant walking throughout the facility.
- Ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, and kneel.
- Able to work safely in laboratory and manufacturing environments.
