## About the role:

We are looking for a HR Lead CEE to join Versuni Poland and play a key role in supporting our Central and Eastern Europe region. This is a broad, hands-on and business-facing HR role, combining regional coordination across 19 CEE countries with full HR Manager responsibility for Poland and Ukraine.
In this role, you will partner closely with regional and local leaders to translate business priorities into practical people solutions. You will support the deployment of the people agenda, strengthen employee experience, ensure consistent HR execution, oversee admin &payroll process and provide trusted guidance on organizational, employee relations and labor-law matters.

## Your Responsibilities

•    Coordinate the HR agenda across 19 countries in the CEE region, ensuring alignment with global and regional priorities while responding to local market needs.
•    Act as HR Manager for Poland and Ukraine, owning the full local HR agenda and delivering all related HR activities end to end.
•    Oversee Admin and Payroll teams and processes across 12 countries, ensuring reliable, compliant and high-quality HR operations.
•    Safeguard and continuously improve employee benefits across the supported countries, ensuring they are well managed, market-relevant and aligned with employee needs.
•    Oversee the accuracy and compliance of local HR regulations, policies and employee handbooks across CEE countries, working closely with local experts and legal partners.
•    Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, engagement, performance, talent and change management.
•    Provide practical and risk-aware advice on employee relations, labour-law compliance, policy interpretation and sensitive people matters.
•    Drive consistency and quality in core HR processes including performance cycles, compensation reviews, talent reviews, succession planning and employee data accuracy.
•    Support engagement, communication, culture and wellbeing initiatives that strengthen trust, inclusion and a positive employee experience.

## The impact you’ll make:

•    Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders and employees across Poland, Ukraine and the wider CEE region.
•    Advise managers on day-to-day people topics, including team effectiveness, performance, development, employee relations and organizational changes.
•    Ensure compliance with local labor-law requirements and company policies, particularly for Poland and Ukraine.
•    Lead or support local implementation of global and regional People initiatives, adapting them to market needs where required.
•    Design tailored People propositions for the CEE region that strengthen employee engagement and inspire action, such as innovation initiatives or recognition program. 
•    Develop talent-focused programs and action plans that support employee growth, succession readiness and long-term capability building across the region.
•    Use HR data and insights to support decision-making, identify trends and propose pragmatic actions.
•    Contribute to a collaborative People function by sharing best practices and supporting continuous improvement across CEE.

## The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

•    Several years of experience in an HR Manager, HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist role, ideally with regional or multi-country exposure ideally gained in consumer goods industry.
•    Proven team management experience 
•    Strong knowledge of Polish labour law; experience with Ukraine or other CEE markets will be an advantage.
•    Solid understanding of core HR processes, employee relations, performance management, talent, reward and workforce planning.
•    Ability to operate in a matrix environment and balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
•    Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility across countries and cultures.
•    High level of ownership, discretion, resilience and sound judgement in handling sensitive HR topics.
•    Fluency in English and Polish; additional CEE languages would be a plus.
