About this role

Job Description Intelligence Solutions (IS) is a Business Area within the Intelligence & Security division of the Platform & Services segment of BAE Systems Inc. IS is responsible for the execution of all Intelligence Community and Federal Civilian related programs within I&S and for business operations and growth in this market. The Intelligence Solutions Business Operations manager will report directly to the VP/GM and will be a member of the IS senior leadership team. The Business Operations Manager directs all areas of business operations, both daily as routine issues arise, executing a wide and challenging range of support activities that underpin the efficient operations & growth of this large and complex business. The individual in this role will actively participate in all business reviews and decisions and manage all reporting requirements upwards. The Business Operations Manager interacts frequently with all levels of the business and with external management/stakeholders. Business Operations Manager partners directly with the VP/GM to shape and execute strategies that fuel sustainable business growth and competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Business Rhythm: Architect and manage a unified cadence for business reviews (PPRs/MBRs/QBRs/MMRs), setting standards for performance metrics and corrective actions. Ensure executive alignment and drive execution that supports business growth targets.
- Program Governance for Expansion: Serve as the strategic bridge between leadership and operational teams, consolidating program insights to enable cross-functional decisions that unlock new growth avenues and mitigate risks.
- Executive Analytics & Growth Storytelling: Deliver board-ready analytics and compelling narratives that translate operational performance into actionable recommendations for business development and market positioning.
- Market-Focused Forecasting: Prepare and present forecasts with sensitivity analysis, translating complex trends into growth strategies that drive revenue and customer acquisition.
- Community Engagement & Brand Building: Lead sponsorships and community investment initiatives aligned to IS priorities, enhancing brand visibility and employee engagement to support business expansion.
- Operational Readiness for Growth: Set capacity and tooling strategies to ensure readiness for peak demand and new business opportunities, validating through after-action reviews.
- Growth Metrics & Dashboards: Develop and track key operational and growth metrics, publishing dashboards that provide transparency and inform strategic decisions for business development and line leadership.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
## Education & Experience

- BS or equivalent in management or engineering; post-graduate degree preferred.
- 10+ years in business operations or program management, with a strong track record in driving business growth.

Industry Expertise

- Deep understanding of IC and DoD technical services market and industry best practices.
- Experience in proposal development and business development functions.

Leadership & Communication

- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and lead cross-functional teams toward growth objectives.

Additional Requirements:

- Active Top Secret clearance required.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Certifications:
- PMP accreditation preferred.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $134640 - $228888

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
