What you will be doing:
- Adhere to strict quality, safety, and operational procedures in compliance with the Franklin Electric Quality System. This includes following detailed assembly instructions, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and immediately reporting any non-conforming components, quality issues, or equipment problems to the supervisor.
- Execute the end-to-end assembly, testing, and packaging process for various pumps and kits to consistently meet the daily production schedule. Responsibilities include operating diverse workstations, utilizing hand, air, and power tools, and occasionally running machinery to balance impellers prior to final assembly.
- Diagnose, repair, and rebuild returned or serviced pump units by stripping down components to inspect for wear, corrosion, and damage. You will document failure information, identify necessary replacement parts, and rebuild units using approved specifications to restore proper operational tolerances.
- Perform critical quality control testing and support warehouse logistics by running hydraulic and functional tests on rebuilt pumps to ensure operational success. Additionally, you will accurately complete all workshop inspection documentation and assist with material handling, inventory management, and general storefront duties as required.

What you need:
- Mechanical aptitude for pump services: Demands a strong technical ability to effectively disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild complex pump assemblies back to operational standards.
- Precision and high-quality standards: Requires a proven track record of consistently providing accurate work that meets highly precise tolerances, engineering standards, and quality specifications.
- Defect identification and documentation: Requires the sharp ability to actively spot component wear, damage, or non-conformance, alongside the communication skills to accurately document inspection and failure findings.
- Document comprehension and instruction compliance: Demands the ability to fully read, understand, and use common sense to execute instructions found in technical blueprints, policy manuals, operating guidelines, and workplace safety rules.
- Education and Experience: 6 months or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred).
- Computer Skills: Basic: computer skills, including use of barcode scanners and electronic or paper-based production/service documentation.
