Position Overview:

The Loan Systems Projects Specialist supports the delivery and ongoing improvement of loan servicing systems by contributing to system projects, enhancements, and issue resolution. Through business analysis, requirements development, testing, and validation, this role helps ensure loan servicing solutions effectively support business operations, user needs, and organizational objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:

- (20%) Directly engage with business users, technical resources, and/or our vendor to brainstorm, analyze, document, and review the requirements needed to introduce changes to the different loan servicing systems. Proficiently develop and review the necessary documentation for creating change requests to submit to the vendor or Information Services.

- (18%) Provide initial development of project design and business requirements for review by Loan Servicing Systems management

- (18%) Proficiently create test plan / test scripts based on project design and business requirements and determine applicable regression tests to leverage in conjunction with the requested changes on multistep / multi-change projects. Execute extensive regression testing to identify application and system defects prior to the migration to Production.

- (15%) Act as a liaison between business users, Information Services, and vendors that are involved with projects that impact all loan servicing systems. Communicate with Information Services and/or vendors throughout project lifecycles and for continued application maintenance after implementation.

- (15%) Troubleshoot system issues and find accurate resolutions and communicate back effectively to the group. Effectively document and organize all defects or issues and successfully communicate steps to recreate to developers and/or vendor(s).

- (14%) Lead the team through testing verification, ensuring all testing goals are clearly communicated, executed, and results or defects are reported in a timely manner.

Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

- Associates degree

- 2 – 5 years of experience in loan servicing, lending, financial services, or related field, with experience support system or technology initiatives.

- Experience with business requirements gathering and documentation, business process analysis, system testing, defect identification, and/or solution validation.

- Experience supporting system enhancements or technology projects through multiple phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements, testing, implementation, and production support.

- Familiarity with loan servicing processes, lending operations, and related regulatory requirements.

Preferred Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

- Bachelor's degree or higher

- Experience working directly with loan servicing systems, lending platforms, or other financial services applications.

- Experience with system configuration, solution design, workflow improvement, and regression testing.

- Experience coordinating with business users, technical teams, and/or third-party vendors on system enhancements and issue resolution.
