Fife Council is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Project Officer to join our Asset Management Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering building improvement projects and accommodation changes that support the Council's modern and blended ways of working. Working closely with project managers, stakeholders and Council services, you will help ensure projects are effectively planned, coordinated and delivered to meet operational needs.

About the Role

As Project Officer (Asset Management), you will act as a day-to-day contact for Asset Management improvement projects, supporting the successful delivery of accommodation changes and workplace improvements across the Council.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the delivery of building improvement and accommodation projects.

- Developing and reviewing layout drawings, specifications and project information.

- Coordinating meetings and maintaining accurate project records.

- Producing progress updates and reports for project stakeholders.

- Working with Council services, Business Technology Solutions (BTS), Facilities Management and external suppliers.

- Managing Accommodation Change Requests (ACRs) and ensuring actions are progressed.

- Supporting stakeholder engagement and ensuring operational requirements are reflected in project planning.

- Coordinating IT requirements and equipment procurement associated with accommodation changes.

- Assisting with workplace utilisation surveys, reports and project implementation activities.

About You

We are seeking a motivated individual who can build effective relationships and manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.

You will have:

- Education to SCQF Level 7, including HNC, Advanced Highers or equivalent qualification.

- Evidence of continuing professional development in a relevant area.

- Strong project management and organisational skills.

- Excellent communication, influencing and team-working abilities.

- The ability to analyse issues and identify practical solutions.

- Experience of working towards multiple objectives and deadlines.

- Experience supporting medium to large-scale projects.

- Strong IT skills, including experience of word processing, spreadsheets and databases.

- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

- A commitment to delivering high-quality customer-focused services.
- Experience of supporting accommodation changes, workplace projects or property-related initiatives would be advantageous.
