Standard Job Description
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Develops product technical specifications, supplier statements of work, and oversees all technical and programmatic aspects of sub‑tier supplier contracts from initial development through sustainment.
Basic Qualifications
* Education / Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
* Technical Expertise
* Hands‑on experience with engineering product design, development, and/or sustainment
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and PDF editing tools
* Communication & Organizational Skills
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities
* Proven presentation skills and the capacity to organize complex information clearly and effectively
Desired Skills
* Processor & Avionics Hardware
* Prior experience with processor hardware for military or avionics applications (highly desired)
* Supplier & Sub‑contract Management
* Proven experience managing subcontractor suppliers
* Technical lead experience coordinating multiple team members on avionics system development (plus)
* Standards & Qualification
* System qualification to MIL‑STD‑810, MIL‑STD‑461, and/or MIL‑STD‑464
* Airworthiness knowledge of MIL‑STD‑516
* System safety experience with MIL‑STD‑882
* Project / Program Management
* Hands‑on experience with cost estimating, schedule planning, and execution
* Proficiency with Microsoft Project (scheduling) and Microsoft Visio (diagramming)
* Systems Integration & Testing
* Experience in a Systems Integration Lab, including performance monitoring and evaluation
* Systems Architecture & Modeling
* Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
* Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler (preferred)
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
