Job Summary
Perform administrative duties associated with general land work including preparing proposal letters, generating reports, handling mail and preparing and maintaining various departmental files. Provide support and assistance to landmen while working under general supervision. Maintain accurate data in land systems, monitoring of time sensitive deadlines and preparation of regulatory applications and well setups. Create positive rapport and communication with other internal departments to ensure open workflow throughout the company. The ideal candidate must be flexible with strong interpersonal skills while able to effectively multi-task priorities and projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit and track proposal letters sent to partners.
- Calculate complex working and net revenue interest ownership in wells.
- Proficient in title ownership and curative documentation.
- Maintains accurate data in land systems to ensure proper reporting to stakeholders.
- Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders in preparation and monitoring of regulatory matters.
- Enter detailed data pertaining to oil and gas contracts and wells into Continental Resources’ systems
- Review, code and route land invoices for approval, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Apply general principle and standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate and correspond with other work disciplines to ensure project execution and collaboration.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Minimum of six (6) years of related experience
- An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
