Job summary

Ensure that parts, components and services purchased from suppliers strictly meet the company's performance, compliance and reliability requirements, while managing supply chain risks.

You are the technical and operational interface between the purchasing department, production and suppliers

Responsibilities

Supplier selection and approval

- Conducting supplier audits

- Validate production processes (PPAP/samples) before series production launch.

Risk prevention:

- Define contractual quality requirements and technical specifications.

- Risk analysis (FMEA)

Non-conformance management:

- Address discrepancies (incidents) identified upon receipt or on production lines.

- Drive problem resolution at suppliers using quality tools (A3, 8D, Ishikawa, etc.)

- Require and ensure the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Continuous supplier improvement:

- Evaluate supplier performance.

- Track quality performance indicators (PPM, etc.)

- Support suppliers in improving their manufacturing processes

- Evaluate supplier performance.

Required qualifications

- Master's degree (Bac+5) with 2 years' experience in industrial quality, supplier quality, mechanical engineering or a production environment.

- Proficiency in quality methods: 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA, supplier audits, risk analysis and corrective action plans.

- Technical knowledge of mechanics, blueprint reading, manufacturing processes, quality control and industrial environments.

- Ability to lead cross-functional topics with suppliers, Purchasing, Production, Methods and Supply Chain.

- Good command of office tools and quality tracking systems; knowledge of an ERP is a plus. Knowledge of the nuclear industry would be a plus.
