Job Summary

Transform Medline’s clinical education platform to a strategic capability to strengthen credibility and deepen customer partnerships. This role serves as a strategic leader for customer education, thought leadership, industry partnerships and clinical content. Working alongside marketing, sales, product divisions and medical affairs create scalable education experiences through digital, self-service and onsite curriculums that align to business priorities.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans, tactics, and processes for Medline University (MU) that promote continued growth of MU user base and education offerings.
- Establish a multi-year roadmap for customer education across multiple categories and care settings; ensure the library of courses deliver appropriate content for our primary targeted audiences, RNs, CNAs, techs, and other healthcare support staff.
- Lead development of a centralized clinical education content strategy including, digital, virtual, online and in-person formats supporting product implementation and best practices.
- Develop strategic relationships with healthcare associations, clinical leaders and key opinion leads to guide education strategies for national and regional associations.
- Work closely with Dubuque customer service team and assist CS team to effectively provide on-boarding for new accounts, resolve and understand daily issues, and facilitate resolutions with our vendor partner, when needed.  Manage and resolve day-to-day learning platform functionality and issues.
- Develop and present presentations and materials for sales training and customer visits.
- Manage Medline University operations from vendor partnerships, budget, KPI tracking and course development processes and governance. and process division fees for course development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, medical affairs to drive continuous improvement in educational delivery and customer engagement.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for clinical education initiatives.

Management responsibilities include:

- Typically, manages through multiple Managers.  Provides leadership and management to one or more major departments of an operating unit or to a department that has system-wide accountability.
- Strategic, tactical and operational planning (12 + months) for the function or department;
- Direct budgetary responsibility for one or more departments, functions or major projects/programs;
- Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects and develops;
- Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies;
- Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.

Requirements

Education

- Bachelor’s degree

Work Experience

- At least 7 years of marketing experience (ex. marketing plans, promotions, trade shows and other marketing/sales strategies).
- At least 4 years of experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

- Experience understanding customer needs/priorities and skills to use that insight to develop innovative and effective marketing programs that generate sales.
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within, and external to, an organization.
- Experience collaborating with internal resources and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.

Preferred Requirements

Education

- Master’s degree.

Work Experience

- Experience in healthcare or in on-line education preferred.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$116,000.00 - $174,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
