Pay: $18.00 - $21+ per hour (based on qualifications)

Schedule: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with some variation based on business needs.

CORE SHIPPING AND RECEIVING WAREHOUSE WORKER RESPONSIBILITIES
n
n
n
Organization and attention to detail are crucial, as you'll be examining incoming/outgoing shipments, verifying contents, assembling packages, and preparing materials for shipping. You'll review documents for accuracy, compare notes with the shipment's contents, and prepare your own shipping/receiving records while documenting any discrepancies. Following the production schedule and customer/work orders, you'll identify items to be gathered and use various equipment (including forklifts, conveyors, and hand trucks) to move the objects to designated areas.

When preparing shipments, you'll record data, determine the proper shipping methods, and seal/label the packages. You'll communicate with carrier representatives for instructions and delivery arrangements as well as coordinate with establishment representatives to address any damages, shortages, or errors. Organization is key, and you'll make sure shipping materials and incoming deliveries are properly sorted and stored. You'll follow specifications to assemble customer orders and fulfill material requests for field crews, driving to job sites as needed. You'll maintain inventory records in our computer system, compile worksheets and tickets, and assist with other responsibilities as needed to meet productivity, efficiency, and quality goals.

Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Worker Qualifications:

- Forklift certification

- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)

- Ability to use hands/fingers to assemble packages, work with cables, and use tools
nnn
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, and lift/move 10 - 25 pounds
nnn
- Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs.

- High school diploma or equivalent
nnn
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
nn
