As a Software Performance Analyst: Networking, you will work throughout a product life cycle to ensure performance goals are met. You will collaborate with product planners, owners, and development teams to design and implement enhancements that improve software performance. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design and Implement Workloads: Design and implement workloads that reflect actual client usage patterns, and request measurements to verify that the product's performance goals are met. • Analyze Performance Data: Perform analysis to identify areas for improvement and make tuning recommendations to enhance software performance. • Collaborate with Development: Work closely with development teams on design and implementation enhancements to improve software performance. • Develop Capacity Planning Guidance: Develop and provide capacity planning and investigation guidance and tools to Sales and Support teams. • Utilize Networking Expertise: Apply knowledge of networking hardware, infrastructure, and software-based controllers to communicate and control networks, including network virtualization and Software Defined Networking (SDN). • Exposure to Performance Analysis: Experience working with performance data to identify areas for improvement and making recommendations to enhance software performance. • Understanding of Networking Hardware: Familiarity with networking hardware and infrastructure, including software-based controllers and APIs to communicate and control networks. • Knowledge of Network Virtualization: Exposure to network virtualization and Software Defined Networking (SDN) concepts and technologies. • Experience with Workload Design: Experience designing and implementing workloads that reflect actual client usage patterns. • Familiarity with Capacity Planning: Exposure to capacity planning and investigation guidance and tools development for Sales and Support teams. • Network Architecture Knowledge: Exposure to designing and implementing network architectures, including hardware and infrastructure, to support software performance analysis. Familiarity with software-based controllers and APIs to communicate and control networks. • Advanced Networking Concepts: Understanding of advanced networking concepts, such as network virtualization and Software Defined Networking (SDN), to optimize network performance and control. • Performance Optimization Techniques: Experience with techniques to optimize software performance, including workload design, capacity planning, and performance data analysis to identify areas for improvement.
