Digital Workplace – Videoconferencing & AV – Audio Visual Engineer

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

As an Audio-Visual Engineer, you will be responsible for:

- Conducting thorough audio and video quality testing of new videoconferencing and AV devices to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Contributing to the development of our videoconferencing and AV offerings and maintaining the AV catalog.
- Supporting the integration of our videoconferencing systems with our IT environment, ensuring cyber-security compliance.
- Contributing to the architecture and governance of our management platforms, as well as the network and identity design related to videoconferencing.
- Collaborating on the definition of business and technical requirements for audio-visual solutions.
- Participating in technology watch and proof-of-concept development.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive design documents related to governance, architecture, infrastructure and support.
- Working closely with network, identity management, and cyber-security teams to ensure the seamless integration and security of our AV solutions.
- Providing technical advice to global teams that support videoconferencing and audio-visual solutions locally.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

You will be successful in this role if you:

- Are fluent in English.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Are curious and excited about discovering and testing new technologies and better ways of doing things.
- Have administrator experience with at least one videoconferencing solution; Microsoft Teams is a significant plus.
- Have experience assessing the audio and video quality of videoconferencing and other AV hardware and software.
- Can demonstrate a good understanding of network principles, identity management concepts, and cyber-security best practices.
- Have knowledge of IT integration of AV devices, including MDM and management platforms.
- Are familiar with Digital Signage concepts and solutions.
- Are comfortable writing clear and concise design documents related to governance, architecture, infrastructure and support for technical peers and for end users.
- Are at ease with technical discussions regarding interconnected environments and can summarize the main points for technical and non-technical audiences.
