Position Summary

onsemi is seeking a motivated and collaborative Human Resources Business Partner to support employees and leaders at our East Fishkill site. This role provides both strategic and day-to-day HR support while partnering closely with managers and employees to foster a positive, high-performing work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Human Resources, strong interpersonal skills, and a desire to grow their HR Business Partner capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience across multiple HR disciplines, including employee relations, talent management, organizational development, workforce planning, and HR analytics.

The successful candidate will build strong relationships with leaders and employees, serve as a trusted HR resource, and help implement programs and initiatives that support business objectives and employee engagement.

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field strongly preferred .
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.

Experience

- 1 to 5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, Employee Relations, or Talent Management role.
- Experience supporting a manufacturing, technology, engineering, or other fast-paced operational environment preferred.
- Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters and supporting leaders in people-related decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Experience working with HRIS systems; Oracle experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools is a plus.
- Interest in learning the semiconductor manufacturing industry and supporting a highly technical workforce.
 
Ideal Candidate Profile

This position is well suited for an early-career HR professional or recent Master's graduate with several years of HR experience who is looking to expand their HR Business Partner skills. The successful candidate will be eager to learn, comfortable working directly with leaders and employees, and passionate about helping both people and the business succeed.

onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $65,900-$115,400 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
