American Disposal Services is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to help grow our business throughout Northern Virginia while delivering the service our customers have come to expect. What You'll Do

- Develop new business opportunities throughout your assigned territory.
- Build relationships with business owners, property managers, HOA boards, and community leaders.
- Meet with prospective customers to evaluate their waste and recycling needs.
- Prepare and present service proposals and pricing recommendations.
- Negotiate service agreements and secure new business.
- Partner with operations, customer service, dispatch, and leadership teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers and identify opportunities to expand services.
- Stay informed on local market conditions and competitive activity.
- Accurately document customer interactions and sales activity within company systems.
- Achieve individual and team sales goals while supporting a culture of safety, service, and teamwork.

What We're Looking For

- Previous outside sales experience preferred.
- Previous waste industry experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Experience in waste and recycling services, construction, property management, environmental services, transportation, or business-to-business sales is a plus.
