Interim Data Analyst Accounting & Finance

Position Overview We are seeking a Data Analyst to support the accounting and finance team by analyzing high volumes of transactional data, identifying discrepancies and trends, and improving the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting. Key Responsibilities

- Analyze large volumes of accounting and transactional data for accuracy, trends, and discrepancies
- Perform data reconciliations across multiple systems and data sources
- Research and resolve transaction-level variances and data issues
- Create recurring and ad hoc reports to support Accounting and Finance
- Assist with high-volume transaction processing, validation, and reporting
- Identify trends, exceptions, and unusual activity within financial data
- Work with Accounting to support month-end close and account reconciliations
- Help streamline and improve data collection, reporting, and reconciliation processes
- Maintain and manipulate large datasets using Excel and other reporting tools
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, and Operations to ensure data integrity

Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, accounting, or a related role
- Experience working with high-volume transactional or financial data
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and large data sets
- Experience with ERP systems and/or reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies within large amounts of data

This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $75.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
