WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Help contractors and other customers work through equipment issues, beginning with the support tools and
product knowledge you build on the job.
* Read wiring diagrams, understand sequences of operation, and use voltage and continuity readings to guide
clear, safe troubleshooting steps.
* Learn how Laars boilers and water heaters work, from electrical controls and sensors to plumbing, gas, venting,
and parts identification.
* Document what you find, ask for help when an issue needs deeper expertise, and share lessons that make the
whole team stronger.
WHAT YOU BRING
* Hands-on experience diagnosing low-voltage and/or line-voltage electrical problems, with sound electrical
safety habits.
* The ability to read wiring diagrams and use a multimeter to take and interpret measurements.
Clear communication, patience with customers, a willingness to learn, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant backgrounds include: electrical or HVAC apprenticeship, automotive electrical diagnostics, industrial
maintenance, controls, and similar technical work. Prior boiler experience is welcome, but it is not required for this hiring
path
