Care Services Lead

The Care Services Lead is a hybrid role, responsible for providing a visible on-site presence and overseeing the day-to-day delivery, quality and client experience of Guardian Angel Carers’ services across designated locations where multiple clients live in close proximity. The role combines hand-on care with responsibility for maintaining a strong understanding of individual clients, supporting carers, overseeing medication and care quality and maintaining a positive working relationship between Guardian Angel Carers and all stakeholders.

The Care Services Lead will be a visible and approachable presence and will develop a strong understanding of all individual clients receiving care from Guardian Angel Carers, including their care needs, preferences, health circumstances, routines, interests and wellbeing.

The successful applicant will also play an active role in promoting the wider wellbeing and social engagement of clients. They will proactively identify opportunities for activities and initiatives that enhance clients' quality of life and sense of community, and will work with the appropriate people to plan and coordinate these.

Essential Experience includes:

- Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Previous experience in a Team Leader, senior carer or equivalent role
- Strong understanding of person-centred care
- Understanding of safeguarding
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to develop a detailed understanding of individual client needs
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and take appropriate initiative
- Willingness and ability to provide hands-on care

This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week with 28 days annual leave.

UK driving license and access to own, reliable car is essential.
