This position will be based at our Corporate Headquarters located in Charlotte, NC.

About the Role:

The Senior Tax Analyst is an integral member of the Electrolux North America tax team and supports indirect tax compliance, reporting, account reconciliations, property tax compliance and related process improvements. The role partners with cross-functional teams and the Electrolux–Midea joint ventures to improve data quality, strengthen controls, and implement efficient indirect and property tax processes. This position is based at the Electrolux North America headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, and offers a flexible hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Obtain transactional data through source-system extracts and automated data feeds to Vertex; combine, cleanse, transform, and validate the data as needed to support indirect tax returns, account reconciliations, audits, and management reporting.
- Investigate data anomalies, transaction coding issues, and system or process gaps; document findings and coordinate corrective actions with Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, and business operations teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including opportunities to standardize, streamline, and automate data preparation, account reconciliations, compliance processes, and notice management.
- Prepare and maintain monthly indirect tax account reconciliations for Electrolux North America entities and the Electrolux–Midea joint ventures; investigate, document, and resolve reconciling items on a timely basis.
- Support the preparation, review, and timely filing of U.S. and Canadian indirect tax returns, including sales and use tax, GST/HST, QST, and PST returns, related schedules, and payments across applicable jurisdictions.
- Prepare property tax accrual entries, workpapers and returns for manufacturing plants and other facilities.
- Monitor, research, and assist in responding to indirect tax notices, assessments, information requests, and other correspondence from tax authorities; maintain notice logs and track matters through resolution.
- Support indirect tax audits by preparing data extracts, reconciliations, workpapers, and responses to auditor requests.
- Execute indirect tax activities for the Electrolux–Midea joint ventures, collaborating with joint venture finance teams, business partners, and external advisors to support accurate and timely reporting.
- Review the indirect tax treatment of purchases and sales, including exemption documentation, taxability determinations, and use tax accruals.
- Perform other tax-related duties and support special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, tax, information systems, or a related discipline.
- Two to three years of related tax experience.

Qualifications:

- Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills, including the ability to reconcile complex data and resolve discrepancies.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power Query, Alteryx, Power BI, or similar data tools is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external advisors.
- Experience with SAP, indirect tax compliance software such as Vertex, and tax determination engines is a plus.
