What You’ll Do

As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services to a portfolio of Financial Services clients.

Responsibilities include:

- Leading audit engagements from planning through completion.
- Assisting clients with complex accounting and financial reporting matters.
- Identifying business and financial risks and providing practical insights.
- Leveraging innovative audit technologies and methodologies.
- Coaching and developing junior team members.
- Building strong client relationships and contributing to exceptional client service.
- Participating in community, wellbeing, and team-building initiatives that reflect Grant Thornton's people-first culture.

About You

We're looking for professionals who have:

- A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA).
- A recognised accounting designation (CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA) or are actively pursuing qualification.
- 2-3 years of external audit experience within a public accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
- A growth mindset and a desire to take on increasing responsibility.

Preferred Experience

- Experience within a large international accounting firm.
- Financial Services industry experience, including insurance, reinsurance, investment funds, or asset management.
- Exposure to PCAOB or US SEC engagements.
- Experience using cloud-based audit and data analytics tools.
