Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Laser and Electro-Optical Systems (LEOS) site is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Analyst (Associate or Experienced)

for our advanced development and production manufacturing team located in Albuquerque, NM.

The Boeing Laser and Electro-Optical systems (LEOS) group works to develop and implement next-generation technologies and products serving a variety of commercial and military customers. Our team focuses on rapid prototyping and precision production of advanced laser and electro-optical systems that satisfy challenging product performance requirements built in accordance with aerospace (AS9100) quality standards.

Position Responsibilities:

- Assist in creating and maintaining work instructions, manufacturing process specifications, travelers, and special processes under supervision throughout the product life cycle
- Follow established manufacturing procedures ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Use specialty software applications to update and distribute shop work instructions with guidance as needed
- Support manufacturing and procurement activities to help meet applicable aerospace quality standards
- Help prepare and submit change requests for manufacturing procedures and processes, collaborating with senior team members
- Assist in implementing design changes related to new product development builds
- Review engineering drawings to identify discrepancies and provide basic feedback to engineers
- Support maintaining bills of materials (BOM) for product designs under direction
- Participate in program, design, material, engineering, and safety reviews as appropriate
- Collect and organize manufacturing and quality data to support continuous improvement efforts
- Assist in compiling build books and tracking first-time build action items
- Support optimization efforts for facility layouts, production lines, tooling, and test equipment with guidance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Program Management, Quality, Engineering, and Suppliers, escalating issues as needed
- Track assigned action items and work with teams to move them toward closure
- Receive mentorship from senior team members and actively pursue professional development
- Participate in training sessions to develop skills supporting production activities
- Contribute to maintaining safe and compliant production environments
- Assist in documenting, dispositioning, and resolving non-conforming hardware issues
- Support tooling design and acquisition efforts as assigned
- Assist in managing small projects or portions of larger projects under supervision
- Provide support on manufacturing-related proposal activities
- Work with business leaders, engineers, and technicians to support manufacturing quality, schedule, and cost goals

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

- 1+ years of experience working with Supply Chain and Manufacturing
- 1+ years of experience with one or more of the following within the Manufacturing Operations function (Shop Floor Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management)
- Level 2: 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with a Manufacturing, Engineering, and/or Aerospace Domain
- Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

- Level 3: 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) or Bill of Material (BOM) software
- Six Sigma certification
- Experience with aerospace (aircraft/space vehicle) supply chain and manufacturing
- Experience with Computer-aided Design Software (CAD)
- Experience with Geometric Tolerancing

Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2): $90,950.00 - $123,050.00

Summary pay range for Experienced (Level 3): $111,350.00 - $150,650.00
