Logistics Coordinator

Join nVent's Tempe manufacturing team as a Logistics Coordinator I , where you will play an important role in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, supporting customer delivery requirements, and ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics operations. This position works closely with warehouse, production, customer service, and transportation partners to ensure products are shipped accurately, on time, and in compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Compensation: $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday, 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This schedule offers a three-day weekend every week while supporting critical shipping and logistics operations.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

- Coordinate domestic and international shipments to ensure on-time delivery to customers and distribution centers.
- Manage transportation providers, freight carriers, and third-party logistics partners to optimize cost, service, and performance.
- Monitor shipment activity, resolve transportation issues, and communicate updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Prepare and maintain shipping, export, customs, and transportation documentation while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Analyze logistics data and transportation trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Partner with warehouse, production, and customer service teams to prioritize shipments and support customer requirements.
- Support inventory accuracy and material movement processes across the operation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction.

YOU HAVE:

Education Requirement

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.

Years of Experience

- 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehousing, or a related field preferred.

Skills

- Knowledge of transportation, freight, and logistics operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Abilities to Meet the Physical and Environmental Demands

- Ability to work in both office and manufacturing/warehouse environments
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility as needed
- Ability to occasionally lift and move materials up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
