JOB TITLE: Food Service Worker LOCATION(S): Minneapolis PAY RATE: $16.50HOURS: We are looking for a student worker who can work on Monday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons from 12:00 pm- 2:30 PM.
JOB SUMMARY:
The University of St. Thomas’ Dining Services provides meals for students, faculty, staff, as well as community members, and other visitors to our campuses.
Dining Services Residential, Retail Dining, and Catering offers flexible work schedules (mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends) at convenient on-campus locations. The student Food Service Worker position works directly with customers in the residential dining halls, retail locations, and at catering events.
This posting is for the Minneapolis Campus. We are looking for a student worker who can work on Monday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons from 12:00 pm- 2:30 PM. The campus shuttle is available for transportation between campuses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This FSW position will cross-train in many of the areas throughout the operation. Duties will include, but are not limited too:
- Food prep/service
- Cashier
- Dishwasher
- Utility and other cleaning responsibilities
- Catering events

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants for these positions are recommended to have some food service experience, but it is not a requirement. If you have a will to learn, a positive attitude, and a good work ethic – then we would be happy to have you join our Dining Services team!
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for student employment, St. Thomas students must be degree seeking at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
