Location: Rotation between all three sites: 24 Portland Place (W1B 1LU), 55 Moorgate (EC2R 6BH) and 33 Grosvenor Place (SW1X 7HY)

What are we looking for?

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Radiography Department Assistant Supervisor to join our Imaging team with a competitive salary range on offer, dependent on experience.

The Radiology Department Assistant Supervisor (RDA Supervisor) will work as part of a team and under the overall guidance of the Radiology Manager to ensure the highest standard of service to patients, consultants and visitors.

The RDA Supervisor may be assigned to work in a variety of imaging locations across CCL, assist other imaging modalities and/or clinical services. The post holder assists with procedures on adult and geriatric patients and performs patient assessment within the scope of practice. The RDA Supervisor works collaboratively with CCL Radiologists and modality lead radiographers to prioritise and organise schedules.

The RDA Supervisor is responsible for coordinating patient scheduling and daily work assignments, and serves as a site specific point of contact for the Radiology Department Assistants in the Imaging department. The RDA Supervisor actively participates in the training of other Radiology Department Assistants.

This is a full-time, permanent role with the below shift patterns:

37.5 hours across Monday – Friday, 5 days a week

Shift times will cover the hours of 7:30am – 8pm, and will include, early, middle and late shifts

There will be an expectation of flexibility to support the needs of the department outside of these hours in line with service and operational demands.

What will your duties include?

- Coordinates and participates in the training of new employees and staff.
- Deputise for the RDA Lead and represent the Radiology Department Assistants at regular imaging lead meetings and disseminate information back to the RDA group.
- Support Radiographers and Radiologists in the course of their work; liaising with patients and secretarial staff; ensure smooth, efficient service to patients and customers
- Greet patients in a welcoming friendly manner, book patient exams, confirming records of the patient details are accurate and up to date ensuring amendments are made on electronic systems where necessary in real time.
- Train new Caregiver on systems and monitor quality of training in conjunction with senior Caregivers

What we need from you?

- General standard of education to GCSE (including English) essential
- Manage time and resources and prioritise workload according to clinical needs.
- Build and sustain professional relationships and work as part of the imaging team
- Must be able to demonstrate competency in IT
- Previous healthcare experience in Imaging Department
