The EA Communications team tells the story of EA’s people, games, technology and brands, helping shape how the company shows up with employees, players, fans, partners, media and industry. This internship provides exposure across EA and EA SPORTS, with opportunities to support brand storytelling, executive communications, employee communications, media and industry engagement, and experiential moments.

Role Overview

This is an intern-level opportunity for a curious, highly organized communicator who wants to learn how a global communications function operates. Working closely with Communications leaders and teammates, the intern will support day-to-day work across storytelling, research, content development, executive support and communications measurement.

Responsibilities

- Support communications projects and initiatives across EA and EA SPORTS, gaining exposure to corporate, brand and sports communications.
- Research sports, gaming, entertainment, technology and cultural trends to help identify relevant stories, conversations and opportunities.
- Support the development and editing of communications materials, including talking points, briefing documents, announcements, presentations, media materials and other content.
- Help prepare leaders and teams for meetings, events and media opportunities through research, briefing materials, schedules and coordination.
- Track media coverage, industry conversations, communications activity and results; help organize reporting and pull insights for the team.
- Support communications planning and execution for key EA and EA SPORTS moments, including events, activations, launches and other industry or cultural moments.

Qualifications and Skills

- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree granting program with an anticipated graduation date no earlier than December 2027.
- You are currently studying Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field, with an interest in corporate, brand or entertainment communications.
- You are a strong writer and thoughtful researcher who is curious about sports, gaming, culture, entertainment and technology. Experience through internships, student publications, campus organizations or other relevant activities is a plus.

We will only consider students who are enrolled in an accredited degree program expecting to graduate no earlier than December 2027. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis during the 12-week internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
